Canada’s big Eastern ski region,Tremblant, has a new summer sport -dry slope skiing, starting next week, when beginners and learners can learn to ski or snowboard and carve on a synthetic surface. Participants will be able to concentrate on their gliding skills, with equipment and tuition included.
The resort in the Laurentians, hopes summer lessons will get the pupils back for the real thing this coming winter.:
Tremblant’s major summer events include IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant, and Tremblant International Blues Festival. There are 1,900 lodging units in 13 hotel establishments, 75 restaurants, boutiques and a Casino - all at nature’s doorstep.
