It is peak season in the Alps, and all resorts are now snow-covered and pristine, and here is a great offer for families heading out for Easter – The Tirol’s leading family area – The Alpbachtal region is offering families a super deal on ski passes over the Easter period.

Families with children up to the age of 15 get FREE ski passes

From 19 March until 10 April. A mother or father can acquire this free ski pass when buying a 3 or 4- or 5- or 6-day ski pass for themselves for all their children.

There is also an accommodation offer – 7 days family-apartment at the Alpbachtal, 6 days skipass and Alpbachtal Seenland Card with all included services free of charge, from €899

This year’s early Easter means great snow conditions for Easter. There are thousands of late deals and special offers out there – both budget and high-end luxury – so get looking if you want to ski either before or after Easter.

Major tour operators such as Thomson, Crystal and Inghams all have cut-price availability as do luxury operators such as Club Med and Le Chardons in Val d’Isere.

Meanwhile our favourite small French resort of Samoens, an hour from Geneva, has some very nice discounted deals from Brit-run Alps Accommodation, who report that they have perfect snow at the base of the Grand Massif region.
