Northstar at Tahoe

A magical blend of sun, fun and snow, California and Nevada’s ski regions are like nowhere else. Northstar-at-Tahoe has runs down through the trees that manage to be both sheltered and have fab views. A big bowl has steeps at the top and easier stuff lower down. Go over the ridge and you find a second bowl, steeper and with some fun blacks.

There’s more of the same at Lookout Mountain. Fast quads whoosh you between the three to provide an entertaining visit. Last year a new base village opened, giving an array of luxury mountainside condos as well as shops and restaurants.
