The 3000m Kitzsteinhorn glacier invites all to experience skiing enjoyment jam-packed with variety. With views of Lake Zeller See, the reopened Ronachkopf ski mountain offers passionate ski tourers and snowshoers new routes to pursue their favourite winter sports. An atmospheric highlight awaits guests and locals on the Schmittenhöhe, the most famous local peak, where, after riding up to 2,000 meters on a Porsche-designed gondola, they are greeted by an idyllic mountain to explore and enjoy.
Black Mamba awaits
Even experienced skiers get the ultimate adrenaline rush on the new Black Mamba slope on the Kitzsteinhorn. The 1,000m slope with an inclination up to 63 % percent, is a real challenge for all. Five free-ride routes and three snow parks with Austria’s biggest super-pipe complete the offer on the mountain with a top height 3,029 meters.
World’s longest Fun Slope
The another attraction to offer this winter: the world’s longest “Fun Slope” – 1,300 meters is in the in the Hochmais cable car area on the Alpine pasture Sonnalm is an extraordinary ski slope with numerous tunnels and tight turns.
