Up again – at last ..

Cairngorm Mountain (Scotland) Ltd  has relaunched its mountain railway to full operation, after being down for years for engineering works, and now has UK Department of Transport approval.

Good timing as the Scottish season is now in full swing

The 2km funicular will now run a regular service taking snowsports enthusiasts to the top  slopes in 5 minutes. The railway’s return comes with improvement works including new ‘magic carpet’ conveyor belts for the beginner slopes, car park improvements and the refurbishment of the Ptarmigan building at the top station.
